Twin-Pedestal Partners Desk with Red Leather

A large twin-pedestal partners desk, the top inset with three panels of oxblood leather tooled in a gilt border, with three frieze drawers over three graduated drawers to each pedestal on the working side, and matching panelled fronts to the reverse. The leather is scuffed and darkened with use and the brass swan-neck handles are original. Finished on all four sides, so it can stand in the middle of a room and hold court.
