Every piece now has an address
A post sinks. A page stays.
Until now, a piece arriving at Yellow Hat got a few days of attention on Instagram and then disappeared down a feed. From today each one has a page of its own, with its own address, and it keeps that page after it sells.
That last part is deliberate. The archive is not a graveyard. It is the record of what passes through the shop, month by month, and so the quickest way to see what kind of things turn up here and whether we are likely to have what you are after.
Thirty pieces to begin with. All antique, a good deal of mahogany, most of them from between 1800 and 1920. More arrive every week.
- Every piece carries a reference code, from YH-0001 onward. It is on the label in the shop and on the page here, so you can ring about YH-0022 and we will both know what you mean.
- You can filter by size. The real question about a table is rarely what it costs, but whether it fits the alcove.
- You can put several pieces into one enquiry rather than sending four separate messages.
What has not changed: nothing is sold here. This is a window, not a webshop. The shop is at Vierwiekenplein 100 in Oud-Beijerland, open Saturdays from 11:00 to 16:00, and by appointment whenever it suits.
