Three-Tier Oak Buffet, full view

Three-Tier Oak Buffet

A three-tier oak buffet with a raised gallery back to the top, the shelves carried on ring-turned columns and set on a stepped plinth base. The top and middle tiers are edged with a carved nulled moulding and the oak has darkened to a rich, even brown. Built when a household expected to serve rather more courses than it does now.
