Slatted-Side Bedside Cupboard

A tall, narrow bedside cupboard in oak, the sides open with vertical slats and the single panelled door hung with a long pierced brass drop handle, above four square legs. There is one fixed shelf inside. Arts and Crafts thinking applied to the least glamorous piece of furniture in the house, and it works.
