Set of Six Rush-Seated Ladder-Back Chairs

Six country ladder-back chairs in old oak, each with four shaped horizontal rails, turned finials to the uprights and a hand-woven rush seat over turned stretchers. Colour and wear vary across the set, as they always do in chairs that were made by hand and used hard. Rush seats forgive a great deal, but they have never once forgiven a stiletto.
