Serpentine Mahogany Chest of Four Drawers

A Georgian chest of four graduated long drawers in mahogany, the front cut in a serpentine curve and fitted with cast brass rococo plate handles, standing on shaped bracket feet with a scalloped apron. The timber has faded to a soft red-brown and the drawers run on their original linings. A serpentine front is very hard to make and impossible to ignore.
