Plain Country Side Table

A plain country side table with a rectangular plank top on four square tapering legs and a deep frieze, entirely without ornament. The top has darkened unevenly and carries scrubbing marks, old stains and a scorch or two. Nothing about it is trying to impress you, which is exactly why it works in a room full of things that are.
