Pair of Tubular Steel Armchairs in Ochre
A pair of Dutch tubular steel armchairs in the industrial manner, with sled bases, black moulded armrests and seats and backs upholstered in a golden ochre velour. The pile has flattened and bloomed with use, and the steel keeps a soft, unpolished sheen. Office chairs of the era when an office chair was expected to outlast the office.
