Pair of Green Velvet Salon Chairs

A pair of Victorian salon chairs in moss-green velvet, with reeded and carved show-wood frames, turned tapering legs and a carved arched stretcher to the back. The velvet is clean with even pile and the gold gimp trim is intact. Low-seated and armless by design, for rooms where posture was a matter of public record.
