Oak Serving Tray with Cut-Out Handles

A large mahogany serving tray with a low gallery, shaped raised ends and long oval handholds cut straight through the timber. The base is worn dark and smooth from years of use and the corners are neatly lapped. Plain, heavy and completely unbreakable, which is more than can be said for what usually stands on it.
