Mahogany Washstand with Gallery Back, full view

Mahogany Washstand with Gallery Back

A Victorian washstand in mahogany with a three-quarter gallery of scrolled ends, two frieze drawers with turned wooden knobs, and four ring-turned tapering legs. The top is scrubbed pale and water-marked from the job it was built for. Now that plumbing has moved indoors it makes an excellent hall table, and the gallery still stops things falling off the back.
