Mahogany Spider-Leg Gate-Leg Table

A gate-leg table in mahogany of the spider-leg type, with two deep drop leaves and eight slender turned legs on pad feet, joined by a fine stretcher frame. Closed it stands barely wider than a plank; open it seats four without argument. The timber has a warm faded colour and the hinges still swing sweetly.
