Mahogany Sewing Work Table

A sewing or work table with a hinged lid, a fitted green interior and slender turned legs. Closed it reads as a neat occasional table; opened, the divided compartments give away what it was built for. Every one of those little compartments once had a purpose, and one of them still has a thimble in it.
