Mahogany Box Commode with Leather Top
A Victorian box commode in figured mahogany, the hinged top inset with tooled green leather and gilt lines, opening to reveal the original fitted seat and liner recess. It stands on turned bun feet with a concave apron to the front. Nobody is suggesting you use it as intended - it makes a very handsome low table, and its secret is entirely between the two of you.
