Georgian Tray-Top Bedside Table
A Georgian bedside table in mahogany, the tray top with a moulded gallery and cut-out handholds, above a single frieze drawer with brass ring handles and a shaped undertier, on square tapering legs. The mahogany is a warm mid brown with an even surface. The gallery is there because eighteenth-century bedrooms were dark and hands were unreliable.
