Gate-Leg Drop-Leaf Dining Table
A gate-leg table with a warm oval top and an intricate folding base. Open it makes a useful dining or work surface, then closes to a narrow profile when the space is wanted back. The gate-leg is what people built before anyone thought of extending leaves, and it still folds smaller than they do.
