Chinese Hardwood Side Table with Undertier

A square side table in dark Chinese hardwood, the framed panel top above an apron carved with scrolling cloud motifs, on four square legs joined by a lower shelf within its own shaped apron. The timber is close-grained and polished to a deep red-black. Every joint is cut and pegged, with not a screw in sight.
