Child's Heart-Back Correction Chair

A tall child's chair in walnut, the open back cut as a heart above a caned seat, on long slender legs with turned stretchers front and back. Chairs of this height were meant to bring a child up to the family table and keep their spine honest while they were there. The caning is intact and the frame has a warm faded colour.
