Antique Wooden Child's Commode Chair

A small antique wooden child's commode chair with turned components, arms, a circular seat opening and a removable black chamber-pot insert beneath. A curious piece of domestic history from an age when even the smallest necessities received a surprising degree of cabinetmaking ambition.
